London Academy of Excellence (LAE) is seeking to recruit an inspiring Chemistry Teacher to join this ambitious, academic sixth form. LAE is an Outstanding, heavily oversubscribed school located in the heart of Stratford, close to the Olympic Park and just two minutes from Stratford Station (zone 2/3), with excellent links to all parts of London.

LAE is the top-ranked sixth form provider in England to offer a full A level curriculum, according to The Sunday Times Parent Power Survey 2022. The school is particularly proud of its success in helping students from disadvantaged backgrounds to gain places at the finest universities in the UK and around the world. Over 1,400 of our alumni have progressed to Russell Group universities and over 150 to Oxford or Cambridge. 

We are looking for a Teacher of Chemistry who can demonstrate excellent practice and inspire young people. LAE takes occupancy of brand new premises in 2026 with a suite of classroom labs.
